The loss of an eye, or any part of the face in most cases will cause extreme apprehension and disbelief to the person involved. However, with the techniques and material available today, these problems are readily solved both physically and the physiologically.

Your most important decision will be "Who will I choose to complete the necessary procedures to give me back my Natural Appearance and Confidence?"

Technology Available:

The methods and materials available today allows the prosthetist to restore the loss to its natural appearance in match and mobility.

Replacements:

Replacements of an artificial eye or artificial eyes and other ocular and anaplastic prosthetics are required every 3 - 5 years because of medical necessity.

David Trainer:

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome David Trainer to the practice. David is world- renowned as a Maxillo-Facial Prosthetist. David has 25 years of experience with prosthetic rehabilitation, which has included modifying a technique to improve a system for the coloring of silicone to exactly match human tissue and also techniques to blend the edges to the skin to disappear, i.e., "disappearing edge".

We are thrilled that he has chosen to join our practice and look forward to numerous years of working together to restore our patients to the normalcy they deserve.

I chose this profession to help persons who have the need to regain their natural appearance and confidence so that they can lead full and productive lives. As a fine artist and prosthetist, this profession became my calling. Thousands of patients have found satisfaction and normalcy as a result of my work.

Many procedures are covered by your Insurance Company. For individuals without insurance we now offer No Interest and/or Low Interest 3rd Party Financing
